Supporting New Jersey's blueberry growers since 1936 — the birthplace of cultivated blueberries.
Learn MoreThe New Jersey Blueberry Growers Association represents the proud community of blueberry farmers across the Garden State. New Jersey holds a special place in blueberry history — it was here that Elizabeth White and Frederick Coville first successfully cultivated the wild blueberry in 1916, launching an industry that now spans the globe.
Our mission is to promote the interests of New Jersey blueberry growers through advocacy, education, and research. We work closely with Rutgers University, the NJ Department of Agriculture, and the U.S. Highbush Blueberry Council to advance sustainable growing practices and ensure the continued success of our members.
New Jersey ranks among the top blueberry-producing states in the nation, with thousands of acres dedicated to highbush blueberry cultivation primarily in the Pine Barrens region of Atlantic, Burlington, and Cumberland counties.
